Are you a Sales Manager who enjoys getting out to customer sites, understanding technical challenges and winning business?

Get Recruited is working with an established UK manufacturer of stillages, cages and specialist material handling systems to recruit a Technical Sales Manager. With in-house design and manufacturing, the business can develop solutions around each customer''s requirements.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a Sales Manager who wants to own the full sales process. You''ll find new customers, grow existing accounts and turn technical enquiries into profitable orders.

THE SALES MANAGER ROLE:

• Identify and win new business with manufacturing and industrial customers.
• Visit customer sites to understand their storage, transport and handling requirements.
• Develop existing accounts and reconnect with dormant customers.
• Work with Design and Estimating to develop the right solution and quotation.
• Follow up proposals, negotiate terms and move opportunities through to order.
• Build an accurate pipeline and strong, long-term customer relationships.

As Sales Manager, you''ll spend time on the phone and on the road. You''ll have technical support behind you, but you''ll take ownership of customer conversations and keep opportunities moving.

THE IDEAL SALES MANAGER:

• Has a proven track record in B2B technical or industrial sales.
• Can demonstrate success across the full sales process, from prospecting to closing.
• Has experience in material handling, industrial equipment or engineering.
• Is comfortable speaking with engineers, procurement teams and senior decision-makers.
• Enjoys creating opportunities and getting in front of customers.
