Sales Manager (Engineering and Automation) NottinghamshireSalary: £70,00025 Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysThe company:Our client is a leading UK provider of automated materials handling and logistics solutions, designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke equipment for some of the UK''s largest businesses.The business designs and manufactures a variety of automated systems, including conveyor systems, robotics, crane systems and other bespoke materials handling equipment.They currently employ over 200 employees across multiple sitesand have grown significantly in recent years, increasing turnover from around £12m in 10 years ago to approximately £70m today, with further growth expected to hit £100m this yearThe role:As the Sales Manager, you will take ownership of high-value automation projects from initial qualification through to winning the order.Working closely with the design and project engineering teams, you will develop technical solutions, build project costs, prepare tenders and proposals, present solutions to customers and negotiate contracts.You will work closely with the current Sales Manager as part of a structured handover, giving you the opportunity to build a detailed understanding of existing customers, relationships, pipeline and pricing history.Your responsibilities will include: Own high-value automation tenders from qualification through to order.
