Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially-minded professional to lead the growth and development of a key event portfolio. The role involves strategic planning, client retention and development, cross-functional collaboration, and budget management, with a strong focus on revenue generation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the growth strategy for the event, including commercial objectives, KPIs, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead client account growth and retention to achieve quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets.
- Oversee financial forecasting, billing, departmental spend, and reconciliation to ensure budget compliance.
- Develop and enhance the event''s value proposition, including new ideas and innovations.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and operations teams to ensure a strong, unified event proposition.
- Attend industry events to promote the brand, build relationships, and generate leads.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies and payment procedures.
- Provide proactive leadership with a revenue-first, hands-on management style.
Experience required
- Previous sales experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised and has good management skills
