Sales Manager
Location: St. Ives, Cambridgeshire (Office-Based with UK & International Travel)
Salary: Competitive + Performance-Related Bonus + Monthly Company-Wide Bonus (after 12 months)

Our client, a leading player in the technology and engineering sector, is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK and select international territories. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact within a forward-thinking, innovative business. This position is office-based with regular travel to meet customers, distributors, and partners, as well as attending key exhibitions and events worldwide. As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies for the UK and selected overseas markets
- Building relationships with new and existing clients, distributors, and partners
- Identifying new business opportunities and emerging markets
- Recruiting and managing distribution partners in assigned territories
- Producing accurate quotations and overseeing orders from start to finish
- Conducting customer site visits and delivering tailored solutions
- Representing the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
- Providing regular sales forecasts, market insights, and competitor analysis to senior management
- Proven B2B sales experience (technology, engineering, or scientific sector preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to close deals
- Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience managing distribution networks or international sales
- A degree or qualification in a technical, scientific, or engineering field
