On behalf of our rural Hereford client, we are recruiting for an ambitious Sales Manager to join their existing B2B sales team on a full time, permanent basis.
This role offers scope to nurture established partnerships, expand offering within the existing customer base, and secure new business prospects. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the sales strategy and driving forward the plan to spread brand awareness and remain the supplier of choice.
What you can expect:
- £35,000 basic salary
- Plus £10,000 OTE commission
- Hybrid working opportunity with a minimum of 3 days from the office
- Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm with 30minutes unpaid lunch break)
- Occasional travel – 2/3 shows per year plus customer visits to site if required

What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement a proactive trade sales strategy to grow revenue
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing trade customers
- Identify and secure new trade partners across the UK
- Efficiently process customers’ orders through the ERP system
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the brand
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and insights to the leadership team
- Manage and help develop the Trade Sales Executive, working as a team to hit sales targets
- Work closely with operations and marketing to ensure excellent customer service and brand consistency
What we are looking for:
- An experienced sales professional, ideally supplying to B2B/trade partners
- Target-driven with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals
- A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently
- Occasional requirement to travel within the UK to meet customers and attend events
- Brand awareness and general marketing knowledge to support a wider marketing team
