Sales Ledger Clerk

An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join its finance team. Working within a collaborative finance function, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate customer accounts and supporting the wider accounts receivable process.As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales ledger, ensuring customer accounts are accurately maintained and invoices are processed efficiently. You will oversee account set-up processes, manage direct debit collections, reconcile banking transactions, and work closely with customers, internal departments, and external stakeholders to resolve account queries. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will:Have previous experience within a Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable, or Credit Control role.Be confident managing customer accounts, processing invoices, and monitoring outstanding balances.Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, external organisations, and internal teams to resolve queries.Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload while working both ..... full job details .....
