Sales Ledger Clerk Solihull Permanent Up to £33,000 Fully Office Based Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm We re recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join a lovely, close-knit finance team within an SME based in Solihull. The business is currently going through a period of change, so this role would suit someone experienced, confident and happy to get stuck in. Alongside taking ownership of the sales ledger, you ll support the migration to a new finance system and help review and improve the way things are currently done across accounts receivable, cash allocation and credit control. As part of a small team, you ll also need to be agile and flexible, pitching in across purchase ledger and customer operations when required. What you ll be doing: Managing the day-to-day sales ledger and accounts receivable process Allocating and reconciling incoming payments Proactively chasing outstanding debt and resolving queries Building good relationships with customers to keep payments on track Supporting the migration and implementation of a new finance system Reviewing existing processes and identifying better ways of working Providing support across purchase ledger and customer operations when needed Working closely with the wider team to ensure the finance function runs smoothly What we re looking for: Strong, hands-on Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable experience Confident cash allocation and reconciliation skills Experience of proactive credit control and debt chasing ..... full job details .....
