Sales Ledger Clerk

Astute Recruitment are working with an established business in Derby to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk on a permanent basis. The Role Will Involve: Managing sales invoicing and ensuring entries are accurate Allocating cash and reconciling incoming payments Handling customer queries professionally and promptly Supporting with debt chasing, although this is minimal as the majority of customers pay on time Carrying out credit checks on new customers using CreditSafe Maintaining accurate sales ledger records Working closely with the wider finance team Supporting with general finance duties where required The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience within a Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable or similar finance role Previous Xero experience is essential Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Confident communicator with good problem-solving ability Positive and proactive approach to working in a busy office environment Comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider finance team Benefits and Hours: Salary: Up to 30,000 depending on experience 4-day working week with full-time salary Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Annual Christmas bonus Christmas hamper ..... full job details .....
