Sales Ledger Assistant - 34 hour week
CareerMakers Recruitment are looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join our busy client in Warrington, WA3. Key Responsibilities: Proactively chasing overdue, proforma and invoice payments via phone and email Managing your own customer accounts and maintaining strong relationships Carrying out credit checks on new and existing customers Working closely with the sales team to support a smooth sales-to-finance process Resolving invoice and payment queries efficiently Sending copy invoices and customer statements Posting daily cash receipts and supporting cash allocation Processing occasional customer refunds (including online platforms) Posting a small number of daily sales invoices (approx. 30 minutes per day) Assisting the accounts manager with other tasks if needed e.g. posting purchase invoices (training will be provided) Supporting other areas of the business where required when capacity allows Qualifications/Experience At least 2 years experience in credit control, including chasing overdue debt Confident and professional when speaking with customers Able to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively Comfortable working with both finance and non-finance teams Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills Experience using finance systems and Excel Working Hours: - 34 hours per week, including a full 1-hour lunch each day and early finishes on Fridays. 9am - 5pm, Mon - Thurs 9am - 4pm, Fri Pay rate: 23,500 - 25,500£ / annum If you are interested ..... full job details .....
