Sales Executive - Manchester - Up to -40,000 inc Car allowance and bonus
Due to increased global growth, our client are seeking a Sales Executive to be part of our UK Sales team, covering the North West region including Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire & Cumbria, selling all modes of freight.
Frequent travel across the region is expected; therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm (including one-hour unpaid lunch)
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance to achieve agreed targets
- Identify new sales opportunities and build strong business relationships
- Profile new businesses to understand freight and customs requirements
- Maintain and update the CRM system with client and prospect activity
- Grow and develop existing client portfolios
- Liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and international agents
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and technical sales capability
- Represent the organisation professionally at all times
- Negotiate and influence effectively when required
Skills, Experience & Competencies
Preferred
- Minimum 2 years'' sales experience within the freight industry
- Knowledge of multimodal import/export operations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Solid understanding of logistics processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt working hours and work from home when required
Essential
- Right to Work in the UK
