We're recruiting for a New Business Sales Executive to join a well-established insurance brokerage in South Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and successful team where you'll focus on developing new commercial business, building a strong pipeline and converting opportunities into long-term clients.
As a New Business Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, speaking with prospective clients, understanding their insurance requirements and presenting tailored insurance solutions. What you'll be doing as a New Business Sales Executive:
- Identifying and developing new commercial business opportunities through outbound calls, referrals and incoming enquiries
- Building strong relationships with prospective clients and understanding their insurance requirements
- Preparing and presenting competitive commercial insurance quotations
- Negotiating with insurers to secure suitable cover and competitive premiums
- Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to policy placement
- Maintaining an active sales pipeline and following up on opportunities
- Working towards individual sales targets while delivering an excellent customer experience
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and company procedures
What we're looking for in a New Business Sales Executive:
- Previous experience in commercial insurance sales, business development or a similar insurance sales role
- A proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence negotiating with clients and insurers
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong commercial awareness
- Good knowledge of FCA regulations and insurance compliance
