Sales Executive – Construction Services

Are you a confident communicator with previous sales experience and a natural ability to build relationships?

An opportunity is available for a Commercial Sales Executive to join an established specialist contractor, focusing on developing new business and building relationships across the commercial and industrial sectors.

The role will involve speaking with senior decision-makers across healthcare, education, leisure and other public and private sector organisations, introducing a range of specialist finishing and maintenance services.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify and approach potential customers through telephone, email, social media and market research.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers to generate repeat business.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Understand customer requirements and identify suitable opportunities.
• Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs).
• Maintain and update the customer database.

About you:

• Previous sales experience, ideally telephone-based or B2B.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers.
• Good basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Construction industry experience would be advantageous but isn''t essential.
