Sales Executive

St Ives, Cambridgeshire | Full-time, Office-based | £35,000–£40,000

We’re working with an established and growing technology-focused business in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, who are looking for a Sales Executive to join their friendly and collaborative team.

This is a varied role suited to someone with previous sales or sales support experience who enjoys working with customers, managing the detail behind the sales process and supporting a wider commercial team.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Managing customer enquiries, records and correspondence through the CRM system
• Preparing quotations and processing sales orders accurately
• Selling a range of third-party products and liaising with customers and suppliers
• Supporting the sales team with lead follow-up, reporting and general administration
• Coordinating sales meetings, customer visits and trade events
• Assisting with travel arrangements and wider team projects
• Providing occasional support with marketing activities and exhibitions

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and commercially minded, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a sales or sales support role
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• The ability to manage multiple priorities
• A positive, team-focused approach

Experience within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
