If this sounds like something you''d like to get involved with we would love to hear from you!What you will be doing:Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events), and leisure segments.Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to generate leads and close sales.Build strong relationships with key accounts, local businesses, and travel agents to secure repeat business.Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and follow up promptly on all leads.Attend industry networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to represent the hotel and develop market intelligence.Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.Responsible for the quoting, contracting, and planning for any events proactively bought inAt busy periods, will be responsible for helping the rest of the team with reactive enquiriesProvide weekly and monthly reports on sales activity, booking conversion, and revenue forecasts to the Director of Sales.We are looking for someone who:Has minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales, events, or hospitality-related role—preferably within a luxury hotel environment.Is self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.Has a proven ability to build and nurture client relationships with professionalism, empathy, and a customer-first mindset.Has excellent written and spoken communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsIs a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environmentIdeally has experience in Opera, or other similar operating systemsWhat do we expect from you?Be Natural·We want our people to be themselves, genuine and non-scripted.·We give you the space to be yourself , so show us who you really are!Make It Easy·Be flexible; respond quickly and positively to the changing requirements of the business.·Make it easy for our guests, and your fellow team members, communicate effectively and be creative.·We want our Banksiders to take charge and change the game.·Take personal responsibility and initiative to resolve niggles in your own way.Belong· Show love towards our guests and your team!
