This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role suited to someone who can take a project from enquiry through to won tender and enjoys the commercial side as much as the technical detail. The Role: You will own the estimating process end to end: reviewing drawings and specifications, carrying out take-offs, pricing material and labour and producing accurate, competitive quotations. You will also be the point of contact for clients and main contractors, following up quotes and converting enquiries into orders. Key Duties & Responsibilities: * Interpret structural drawings, specifications and bills of quantities * Carry out steel take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates * Source and compare supplier and subcontractor pricing * Prepare, submit and follow up tenders and BAFO responses * Liaise with clients, main contractors and the fabrication team * Maintain pricing records and support handover of won projects * Actively seeking new business opportunities Requirements: Essential * Minimum 3 years'' e...
