Sales Engineer - Metrology EquipmentLocation: UK - Scotland (Field-Based)Type: Full-time, Permanent Uncapped Commission + Company VehicleWe are working with a well-established and growing engineering business specialising in advanced metrology equipment and solutions, supporting customers across manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and precision engineering sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Sales Engineer to develop new business, demonstrate metrology technology and manage sales opportunities through to completion.This is a varied, customer-facing role combining technical sales, product demonstrations, business development and customer relationship management.The RoleDeveloping new business and identifying sales opportunities across the UK.Selling a range of CMMs, portable measuring arms, scanners and laser trackers.Demonstrating metrology hardware and software to prospective customers.Managing sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to demonstration and closing.Following up on office-generated and exhibition/show leads within your territory.Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.Understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate metrology solutions.Working alongside technical teams to support demonstrations and customer requirements.Selling both new and demonstration equipment, accessories and associated software.Products and TechnologyFARO / Romer portable measuring arms and FARO Focus scanners.CMMs and ..... full job details .....
