Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager required for a manufacturer of CNC machined components.

The Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager will work remotely, meeting customers throughout the UK to develop new business opportunities, selling CNC machined components that are tailored to the specification of the customer.

Ideally, the successful Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager will have prior experience selling CNC machined components, and a technical background in CNC machining or manufacturing.

We are also open to applicants who are currently working as a CNC Machinist, Operator or Setter and looking to move into a sales position.

Package:

• -40,000 - -45,000 (-60,000 OTE)

• Working remotely, meet with customers throughout the UK to develop new business opportunities, selling CNC machined components that are tailored to the specification of the customer.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to accurately understand customer requirements.
• Manage a sales pipeline through a CRM system from lead generation to the closing sale.
• Attend exhibitions and tradeshows to promote services.
• Build and nurture relationships with new and current customers to increase sales.
• Reporting to the Sales Manager.

• Prior experience selling CNC machined components is advantageous however we are open to applicants who have sold other precision products or components such as cutting tools, machine tools, workholding solutions, machining accessories, tooling accessories or similar.
• A technical background as a CNC machinist, setter, operator or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to meet with customers throughout the UK when required.
• Ideally located in the North West of England or the Midlands.
