Sales Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, family-run business in Spalding as a Sales Engineer. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background, ideally within an engineering environment, who enjoys combining technical knowledge with client-facing work.  Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. 

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll provide technical expertise to support the sale of complex products and services, guiding clients through the process from initial enquiry to final sale. You’ll be working independently to manage your sales pipeline and will be instrumental in driving business growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Travelling to meet prospects and conducting site surveys

• Preparing detailed quotations and technical reports

• Creating and analysing tenders

• Forecasting and analysing sales targets

• Negotiating and finalising sales, including terms & conditions

• Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events

To be considered for this role you will have:-

• A proven track record in sales, with experience managing your own diary

• Ideally, previous experience within the engineering sector/environment

• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to produce reports and work with CRM systems

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Full UK driving licence

The package on offer for the right candidate for the Sales Engineer role will include:-
