As the Data Centres experience continued growth and expands into new markets and locations, they are looking for an experienced Sales Director who has worked extensively in the UK data centre market to help drive success in AI and HPC colocation solutions.The UK data centre sector is experiencing significant growth due to AI, Cloud services expansion and Edge with a CAGR of 5.1% year on year. They are uniquely positioned in the regions they operate to deliver power dense colocation environments with bespoke cooling technologies to satisfy clients’ evolving data centre requirements.The ideal candidate will utilise their experience and network to drive new business development through strategic prospecting, leveraging key relationships, and directing market strategies. By leveraging market insights and trends, they will implement actionable plans that enable success and growth, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the data centre industry.The role involves working consultatively to deliver colocation and connectivity solutions to new clients and partners. As the HPC and AI Sales Director, the primary objective is to secure HPC colocation revenue, conducting the entire sales cycle autonomously. Responsibilities include strategic prospecting for new logo clients, generating and qualifying opportunities, submitting formal proposal documentation, strategic deal qualification, and managing inside sales executives to drive success through identifying clients that match ICP.This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to advance their career in the largest North-West provider of independent data centre space, supporting a wide range of businesses hosting critical infrastructure across the UK.Main Responsibilities

Develop a strong pipeline through proactive leveraging of existing strategic relationshipsGenerate and qualify leads independently and utilise the inside sales executive for additional prospecting in promising verticalsAchieve monthly targets and key performance indicators for both activity and salesCreate and execute strategic campaignsConduct physical data centre tours for prospective clientsWork with the marketing team to increase brand awareness and generate leadsDevelop a strong understanding of customers'' core objectives and challenges to match products and services to their needsRegularly update CRM and provide necessary sales reportsProvide input and support for strategic planning and business development initiativesIdentify and develop relationships with key partners to expand market reach and drive indirect salesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of client projects and solutionsStay informed about industry trends and advancements in AI-driven colocation and power-dense colocation, and utilise knowledge to drive strategies that increase exposure to AI-driven colocation opportunitiesRegularly meet with the executive team to propose new strategies and progress on existing initiativesCreate and execute commercial strategies aimed at accelerating business growthSkills and Experience

10+ years of experience in consultative data centre salesExposure to AI-driven colocation requirements or power-dense colocationConsistent record of achieving targetsGood technical understanding from AI/GPU hardware, managed services, and data centre backgroundAbility to engage at multiple levels within a customer organisationExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenProficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong organisational skillsExperience in management of a team and proven successExperience in strategic deal qualification (B.A.N.T./S.C.O.T.S.M.A.N., etc.)Experience in deal closing and using various methodsAbility to demonstrate scenarios where adversity was overcome to secure a client’s businessStrong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to developing new ideasExperience in providing responsive, customer-focused serviceExceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasksAbility to produce high-quality work within tight deadlinesCapability to work independently and as part of a teamEducated to degree level (BSc/BA)Driving licence and own vehicle requiredBenefits
