A new and exciting opportunity for a leading specialist manufacturer has become available in the Ipswich area. A client of ours are recruiting a Sales Director to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and paying an excellent salary per annum depending on experience.Key Duties include but are not limited to:Overseeing the sales targets and analysis of related reports and actively working with all departments to ensure that financial objectives are achieved, and commercial risks are mitigated.Investigating how the company can make improvements.Ensure appropriate sales resources are allocated and maximised for high-potential opportunities.Identify and engage potential customers through proactive prospecting, lead generation and networking activities.Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrationsResponsible for leading, mentoring and managing the commercial and sales team.Liaise with department heads to prepare latest estimates on a weekly/monthly basis.Work closely with senior leadership team to assist in decision making for control of overheads and implement cost savings strategies.Develop and maintain excellent awareness of key customers to ensure their needs are being metStay informed of industry trends/marketsEnsuring tenders/contracts are managed end-to-end fairly, accurately and submitted on time.Ensuring contractual and commercial support is being provided to all aspects of the business.Contribute towards ..... full job details .....
