Our client is a leading renewable energy specialist delivering Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and EV charging solutions across commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors. Having experienced significant year-on-year growth, they have built a reputation for delivering high-quality renewable energy projects whilst investing heavily in both their people and technology. With a strong pipeline of opportunities and ambitious expansion plans, they are now looking for a Sales Director to lead their commercial function, develop the sales team, and continue driving revenue growth across the business.

As a Sales Director, your responsibilities will include:

* Leading, mentoring, and developing the sales team whilst driving performance and achieving ambitious growth targets

* Generating new business opportunities and remaining hands-on with key client relationships and strategic sales

* Developing and implementing sales strategies to grow market share across Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV charging solutions

* Monitoring sales performance, forecasting revenue, and working closely with senior leadership to deliver business objectives

The successful Sales Director should have:

* Proven experience within a Sales Director, Head of Sales, or Senior Business Development role

* Previous experience within the renewable energy industry, ideally Solar PV, BESS, or EV charging

* Demonstrable experience managing and developing successful sales teams whilst maintaining a hands-on sales approach

* Strong commercial awareness with excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
