This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an inquisitive and driven mindset to take their first steps in the world of digital product and service sales. You’ll be working closely with the founding team to execute our prospecting and content strategy, manage the sales funnel via HubSpot, and pitch our services. It is a unique chance to join an early stage agency with an experienced team, and help define the future of the company and your role. More experienced hires will certainly be considered, but we’re happy for Addesu to be your first foray into the world of sales, with no specific experience required. You’ll be fully trained and supported as you build your career. For the first 12 months of your role, you will be trained and supported by our Commercial Director. The plan would then be for the Commercial Director to step back, giving you full ownership of the execution of our new business strategy.You would
Build prospect lists within predefined target segments structured around our buying personas.Report on Addesu paid media channel performance (Google and LinkedIn), and optimise where needed.Work with specialists across the team to create content for our social channels and blog.Manage the personal brands of our founders, ensuring we’re growing their footprint with target audiences.Manage sales automation software for Hubspot and LinkedIn to support initial outreach to prospects (no cold calling requirements).To proactively suggest new tools and platforms that will enhance our sales and outbound capabilities.Manage ongoing communication with warm prospects via LinkedIn, email and phone calls.Build bespoke content for target businesses to encourage responses and engagement.Oversee data quality of Hubspot to ensure we’re making the most of its capabilities.Maintain HubSpot’s pipeline to keep a clear understanding of progress.Maintain our events and awards calendar so we’re on top of where we could invest our marketing budget.Attend events with the founding team to build connections and spread the word.Work with the delivery team to build proposals that convert.An interest in marketing technology and the future of digital.The ability to work independently, with good organisation skills (for yourself and those involved in projects with you).Strong communication skills, written, spoken and listening (fluent in English, with other languages a bonus!)Good presenting skills - this can be developed, but initial acumen in this area will help.Strong attention to detail, to ensure the content you’re producing is up to high standards.Inquisitive mindset when tackling new challenges.To understand (or be keen to learn about) the basics of using HubSport or other CRM tools to manage sales outreach.To be comfortable (or keen to learn about) communicating with a variety of stakeholders.To be comfortable (or keen to learn about) using Excel, Sheets or similar data analysis tools.To enjoy the challenge of helping a business grow!A base salary of £28,000Salary reviews every 6 months at a minimum.A quarterly company wide performance bonus of approximately 5% of salaryCommission on new business of 5-7.5% of first year of revenueEnrolled in our generous options scheme.The ability to work flexibly, with:The ability to work your own schedule as long as core responsibilities can be met.Up to 3 days of working from home a week initially, to be reviewed every 6 months at a minimum.Work from anywhere 4 weeks a year.30 days
