Pay: 12.86 per hour Job Description: Trade Counter Assistant Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Contract: Temp to Perm Pay: Competitive hourly rate Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Assistant to join a well-established and growing business based in Bromborough. This role is initially being offered on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Providing excellent customer service to visitors and trade customers Operating the till system, including scanning products and processing transactions Handling cash and electronic payments accurately Assisting customers with enquiries and product purchases Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised trade counter area Supporting with general warehouse housekeeping during quieter periods Collecting and disposing of packaging materials such as cardboard and wrapping Working independently and taking ownership of daily tasks The Ideal Candidate Strong customer service and communication skills Organised and self-motivated approach to work Comfortable handling cash and processing payments Positive attitude with a willingness to learn Able to work both independently and as part of a team Happy to assist with warehouse duties when required Reliable, energetic and personable Previous ..... full job details .....
