Sales Assistant

Sales and Operations Assistant Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, driven and organised Sales and Operations Assistant to join their small and friendly team. Company Benefits: Annual salary review and performance-related bonus. 22 days annual leave + bank holidays additional 3 days holiday between Christmas and New Year at management discretion. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities through targeted sales activity and marketing initiatives. Managing the full sales process from initial enquiry and lead generation through quotation, negotiation, follow-up and conversion. Approaching dormant accounts to maximise conversions. Developing new business through proactive sales and marketing initiatives. Preparing quotations, following up on leads and sales opportunities. Building and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships. Managing stock, availability, deliveries/collections to and from customer(s) sites. Updating the CRM/ Customer database daily to ensure all information is accurate and up to date. Resolving customer and delivery issues, escalating where necessary and providing excellent customer support. Supporting the wider team with day-to-day sales and operational administration. Developing wider industry knowledge of products, pricing, availability and delivery processes.
