A carbon and energy consultancy in Manchester is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Support professional to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role that plays a vital part in supporting both the Business Development and Marketing functions of the innovative team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to the success of client engagements and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing role:
- Assist in qualifying new leads and managing new customer enquiries.
- Create and manage customer records and opportunities within the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
- Prepare high-quality, professional sales proposals.
- Maintain the sales pipeline, ensuring CRM data is accurate and up to date.
- Support client onboarding processes, including communication and documentation.
- Work closely with Account Managers to ensure they have necessary materials and support.
- Liaise with internal teams to gather information for proposals and stay updated on new offerings.
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform strategy.
- Support the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, direct mail, etc.).
- Assist with content formatting for blogs, case studies, and social posts.
- Monitor and share insights on industry trends.
- Coordinate with Sales to align marketing activities with business goals.
- Prepare sales and marketing collateral to support campaigns and business development.
To be considered for this Sales & Marketing Support role you must:
- Ideally, have a degree in an environmental and/or administrative subject
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams); CRM experience (Dynamics 365 ideal).
- Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., MailChimp, Canva) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar Sales Support, Marketing, or Administrative role (ideally within a B2B environment) would be advantageous.
