Our client  continues to grow significantly and as a result is looking for an organised and proactive Sales & Logistics Coordinator to support its growing team in Kirkcaldy.

This is an exciting role and you will play an important part in keeping customer orders moving smoothly from the initial enquiry and order entry through to shipping, customs documentation and delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the sales team.

  • Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Processing customer orders and accurately entering information into the company CRM system.

  • Coordinating shipments and acting as the main contact for courier-related matters.

  • Managing relationships with courier providers and their account managers.

  • Resolving customs queries, delayed deliveries, freight disputes and insurance claims.

  • Helping customers meet import and customs requirements.

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate shipping documentation.

  • Keeping customer, sales and shipping records up to date.

  • Supporting the processing of returns and maintaining accurate inventory records.

  • Communicating with customers, suppliers, couriers and colleagues to keep orders on track.

You will be comfortable managing several priorities and following orders through from start to finish. Previous experience in sales administration, order processing, logistics or a similar customer-focused position would be particularly useful.

You should also have:

  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.

  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.

  • A proactive and dependable approach.

  • Good Microsoft Office skills.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with customers and external suppliers.

  • Experience using a CRM or ERP system, although training can be provided.

  • The confidence to investigate problems and see them through to resolution.

Experience dealing with couriers, exports, customs documentation or international shipping would be advantageous but is not essential.

If you are organised, customer-focused and enjoy a position where no two days are quite the same, we would be pleased to hear from you.

This is a site based role Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm working 42.5 hours per week (30 minute unpaid lunch break plus 15 minute paid break)
