Quality, passion, and integrity drive all the brands under Smart Group, providing exceptional service and personal attention to clients.The Sales and Events Assistant role is primarily focused on overseeing the sales and event administration for our Ticketed Events, with a particular emphasis on Shared Christmas Parties. It combines client-facing sales activity with back-office administration to ensure the smooth delivery of events and high levels of customer satisfaction.Responsibilities
Shared Christmas Parties: calling database for shared parties; using the CRM system to report on historical data; calling previous clients and negotiating offers where necessary; reacting to incoming enquiry; cold calling new data; reporting for ticketed events; preparing ticketing reports; sending e-tickets; printing labels, letters, etc. to send drinks vouchers; reporting on menu and drinks orders to share with the operations team; administration of logistics; producing and updating all event information and reports for the catering teams and on-site managers; ensuring reports are communicated accurately and updated within agreed time frames; attending shared party events; assisting operations team with on-site queries; scanning tickets and welcoming guests to the venue; attending trade show events to promote Smart Parties; ensuring all data is correctly followed up; making outgoing courtesy calls to existing and new clients to arrange and finalise their parties; up-selling drinks packages to shared party attendees; taking payments via the CRM system; coordinating feedback questionnaires, graphs and results; assisting the marketing team with campaigns and new offers to promote the shared Christmas parties.About You / What You’ll Bring
Experience in sales or events administration; experience in events or hospitality is desirable but not essentialPrior involvement in cold calling and client negotiationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple reports, ticketing tasks, and event logisticsAttention to detailKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to handle both reactive and proactive sales tasksTeam player with the flexibility to assist various departmentsProfessional and personable demeanourAbility to work under pressureWhat''s in It For You? / Benefits
