Job Title: Sales and Development ExecutiveLocation: Tilbury, EssexHours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00Salary: Competitive, based on experienceRole RequirementsThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:Minimum 2 years'' experience in freight sales (sea, air, and road) within a freight forwarding environment - ESSENTIALProven track record in sales and business developmentComprehensive knowledge of the global freight IndustryStrong knowledge of global freight operationsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookCollaborative, team-oriented approachStrong English and numerical skillsKey ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales and Development Executive, you will:Identify and secure new business opportunities using personal and company provided leadsDevelop sales across FCL/LCL sea freight, air freight, and road freight for imports and exportsWork flexibly between office-based and field responsibilitiesPrepare accurate quotations with all relevant terms and conditionsLeverage transferable business connections (advantageous but not essential)Note: Responsibilities may evolve to reflect industry changes and operational needs.
