Sales Advisor/Estimator

Our client, based in South Cambridge, is looking for a Sales Advisor/Estimator to join their team. The Sales Advisor/Estimator will be responsible for processing customer orders and enquiries and, with full training, will progress to preparing quotations for customers. The role is designed as a development path: you will start by handling order processing, phone-based customer support and web orders, and will be trained over time to take on full quoting and estimating responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers and is looking to develop specialist knowledge within a growing business. Candidates will need to have their own transport to get to work due to the rural location. Key responsibilities will include: Handling inbound enquiries from customers by telephone and email, providing accurate and timely quotations Identifying cross-selling opportunities within customer enquiries and quotations, proactively introducing relevant products from our client s wider range Supporting the sales team with overflow call handling and order processing during busy periods Following up quotations that have not converted to orders, contacting customers to progress opportunities Maintaining accurate records of quotation activity on the company system; updating customer notes Sending samples and product information to customers Attending internal product and sales meetings to stay up to date with the range Building product knowledge over ..... full job details .....
