Job Title: Sales Advisor

Location: Kendal (fully on-site)

Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual looking to elevate your career in sales? Join our dynamic team as a Sales Advisor, where you''ll play a crucial role in securing sales and expanding our market share with both existing and potential clients.

As a Sales Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate and relevant advice on our products and training services while ensuring timely recording of customer information. You will be an essential part of a small, busy team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular contact with allocated accounts to maximise customer relations and satisfaction.
  • Introduce new products to clients while keeping their information updated.
  • Issue quotations and follow up to ensure sales closure.
  • Negotiate sales deals through to successful conclusion.
  • Actively develop new business opportunities by contacting prospective customers.
  • Enhance your knowledge of customers in defined market sectors.
  • Process sales orders efficiently.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Confirm and update customer information in our database systems after each interaction.
  • Pursue continuous professional development to deepen your technical product knowledge.
  • Undertake other duties as required to support the team and organisation.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Previous sales experience within an office environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with SAGE accounting software and experience with a contacts database would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
  • A good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
