Sales Administrator

We are seeking a proactive and organised Sales Administrator to join an established supplier of laboratory equipment, supporting its sales and operations teams. This is a customer-facing role offering the opportunity to join a growing business and play a key part in its day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of sales administration and customer service activities, with occasional support for the stores function when required. Key responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for both new and existing customers via telephone and email. Prepare sales quotations and process sales orders, including placing orders with international suppliers. Liaise with suppliers to confirm product availability, costs and delivery timescales. Maintain accurate customer records and databases. Process purchase invoices and support general finance administration. Follow established quality management processes and maintain excellent communication across the business. You will have: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work accurately in a busy environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and happy to be customer facing. A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to take ownership of tasks. Experience working with ERP systems. Previous sales administration experience with knowledge of sales and purchasing processes would be advantageous. Interested in this opportunity?
