Purpose of the position
This role will envolve processing customer orders and tracking these through the various stages of production and keeping customers informed on delivery timescales.
Monitoring orders placed by customers both on the e-commerce platform and via email ensuring that these are processed in a timely manner.
Interaction with our growing customer base, receiving incoming customer calls into a busy sales hub, providing a key link between our customers, sales team and our operations.
Supporting the sales team and developing relationships with key customers and sites.
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for
- Preparation of customer quotations and orders accurately and efficiently ensuring a best in class customer experience through the company.
- Interaction with our growing customer base, providing a key link between our customers, sales team and our operations
- Progress chasing of current orders and keeping customers informed of estimated delivery dates and any potential delays
- Monitoring the website for sales activity, assisting customers with the account registration process and provide access to relevant bespoke catalogues
- Liaising with the Finance team to open new customer accounts, ensuring internal paperwork and customer forms are completed accurately
- Developing a good working knowledge of our product range through training and continuous development
- Assisting in the purchasing of products from an agreed supplier database to fulfil customer requirements
- Working with the Sales Hub Manager contributing to a positive customer experience through the sales hub
- Various projects and associated administrative tasks to support the overall Sales Operations team
- Maintaining records and accurate electronic filing systems to meet the requirements of professional bodies and accreditations.
- Preparation of quotations within the RentalResult system on behalf of the Sales Team
- Processing of customer orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Performing outgoing calls to an existing customer base, providing information on new products and building strong relationships. Feeding back opportunities to the sales team
- Support any work-winning activity through the Sales Operations team.
- Assist in the onboarding of a new customers
- Working as part of a team to maintain an environment that embraces a culture of learning, growth and development through performance, inclusion, safety and well-being.
- Always deliver the company values and investigate any complaints raised by the customer in a professional manner to ensure a satisfactory closure is achieved.
- Experience of the processing of customer orders within a similar operational and technical level role.
- Organisational and time-management skills
- Clear written communication with an excellent telephone manner
- Ability to multi-task and provide focus, direction and solutions where required
- Ability to understand and work to the company values
Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm (60 minute lunch)
£14.36 per hour
