Sales Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a confident Sales Support person to work for a lovely Southampton based company. Although the company has several hundred employees worldwide, this is a relatively small office where you will be working in a small team. The role will involve providing support to the Account Management team, processing and expediting orders and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. The office atmosphere is very professional and fast paced but relaxed at the same time. This role requires someone who enjoys managing their own workload and is capable of working under pressure.

Job Role

This is a busy role where you will be required to take ownership for your work. You will be required to liaise with both suppliers and customers, process sales orders and expedite orders from suppliers. You will be required to use the standard Microsoft packages as well as a CRM database so must have ability in this area. There will be lots of autonomy within the role so you can really take responsibility for your work. Training will be given for the right person and there is lots of progression available.

The Ideal Candidate       

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have strong multi tasking skills. You will need to be able to pick things up quickly and have a good level of computer literacy. Accuracy is a vital in this position so you will need a keen eye for detail. It is also vital that you can manage your own workload and juggle when necessary.  Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships is really important.  Someone who is keen to move into an Account Management role in the long term would be a great fit for this position.
