Our client, a leading UK metal stockholder, is currently seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their successful and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to pursue a long-term career in sales within a well-established and highly respected organisation.
The Role:
The Sales Account Manager will play a key role in developing and managing customer relationships, handling incoming enquiries, and providing exceptional service to both new and existing clients. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and growing a portfolio of accounts within the metals industry
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Handling customer enquiries, providing quotations, and processing orders
- Identifying new sales opportunities and working proactively to convert leads into orders
- Liaising closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
- Maintaining accurate records using the company’s CRM system
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a sales, sales administration, or account management role in the metals industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
- Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn and develop within a sales environment
- Experience within the metals industry would be advantageous, but not essential
Package Details
- £Negotiable DEO
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Full training and ongoing support provided
- Annual profit share bonus
- 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
