This is a highly proactive sales role focused on developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the construction sector.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts while actively engaging customers through outbound calls, customer reviews, lead generation, and sales campaigns. This is not an order-taking position; we are looking for someone who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and consistently exceeding sales targets.Key Responsibilities of this Internal Sales Account ManagerManage and develop a portfolio of existing construction industry accounts.Proactively contact customers to identify upcoming projects, requirements, and sales opportunities.Generate new business through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up activities.Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, merchants, and other construction sector customers.Prepare quotations and follow up to maximise conversion rates.Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.Work closely with external sales teams and operational departments to deliver excellent customer service.Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the ..... full job details .....
