Patient Consultations: Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations with patients.Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health conditions.Prescribe safely and appropriately in line with current evidence-based guidance and practice protocols.Review repeat prescriptions and conduct medication reviews.Referrals and Coordination of Care: Refer patients to secondary care and other services as clinically appropriate.Work collaboratively with other health professionalsOffer advice and support on disease prevention, screening programmes, lifestyle modification, and immunisations.Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and legible patient records using the practice clinical system.Complete reports, letters, and forms in a timely manner.Home Visits: Undertake home visits when clinically required and agreed as part of the duty rota.Duty Doctor / On-Call Sessions: Participate in the duty doctor rota to provide urgent, same-day care for patients.Teamwork and Practice Development: Attend and contribute to clinical meetings, significant event analyses, and quality improvement activities.Support the practice in meeting QOF, Enhanced Services, and other contractual requirements.Training, CPD and Governance: Keep up to date with clinical developments and maintain GMC revalidation requirements; participate in clinical audit, peer review, and appraisal processes.About us
