You''ll act as the subject-matter expert, ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and embedding a proactive, safety-first mindset across the organisation.Ensure full compliance with UK SHE legislation and internal standardsLead risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation strategiesOversee environmental management, waste, and emergency preparednessOwn and lead incident investigations using root cause analysisDrive corrective and preventative actions to reduce future riskMonitor and improve key SHE performance metrics (LTIFR, TRIR, etc.)Lead and deliver the site SHE strategy aligned with wider business goals.Champion a positive, proactive safety culture through visible leadershipInfluence and engage teams at all levels to drive accountabilityWhat you''ll need to succeed You will have proven experience in a SHE role within manufacturing or operations.
