Assured Safety Recruitment are partnering with large UK manufacturing group to recruit a Safety, Health and Environment Advisor as the point of contact for one of their production facilities in Middlesbrough. The Safety, Health and Environment Advisor will lead the SHE agenda locally across both sites, implementing new group Safety and Health initiatives with the support of the multi-site HSE Manager. The SHE Advisor will work closely with the Site Leadership Team and also the wider UK Safety, Health and Environment Team. The Group are committed to Safety, Health and Environment and are seeking a SHE Advisor to advocate and drive Safety, Health and Environment to new levels. Support the reduction of SHE risks and hazards across the siteDeliver appropriate Health and Safety training Undertake workplace inspections and audits Support the implementation of the new group SHE management systemUndertake reporting and escalation requirementsSupport the management of contractors and visitors on siteImplement group SHE initiatives and campaigns across the siteDeploying strategy and systemsComplete risk assessment and risk managementLead on incident investigation Investigate the working environment for unsafe practices and conditions The role is both a strategic and hands on, leading initiatives focusing on safety cultures and behaviours, engaging, and educating, having real conversations as well as advocating for Safety, Health and Environment at management level.
