Safety Engineer+9 months ++SC cleared - current active clearance is essential+Hybrid working Bristol+Inside IR35+£500 - £550 a dayWe are looking for an experienced Safety Engineer to support a major UK Defence engineering programme. Working within the production team, you''ll provide safety engineering expertise to support concession management, design modifications and engineering compliance throughout the production life cycle.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and assess engineering concessions.Support safety reviews for design modifications.Work closely with engineering and project teams to resolve safety issues.Act as deputy to the Concessions Engineer when required.Maintain safety documentation and records.Support safety audits, reviews and compliance activities.Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and engineering policies.Essential RequirementsProfessionally registered as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) as a minimum.Experience delivering engineering safety activities and providing technical safety advice.Strong knowledge of engineering safety and risk management.DesirableFormal Safety Engineering qualification or training.Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.Defence or other highly regulated engineering experience. ..... full job details .....
