Tasks: Authoring, development, assessment, maintenance and management of the suite of Nuclear Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents.Authoring, development, assessment, maintenance and management of design changes/concessionsPresentation of Design substantiations, to Due Process nuclear safety committeesProduction and development of Examination, Inspection, Maintenance and Testing (EIMT) Schedule, operating procedures and results to satisfy design requirements and safety case through lifeProducing/assessing Periodic Review of Safety reportsProviding advice and direction to internal and external stakeholdersProduction of Independent Technical Assessment (ITA)/Independent Peer Review (IPR) Scopes of workUse a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to apply existing and emerging technology Apply appropriate theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate, maintain, decommission and re-cycle engineering processes, systems, services and products in a nuclear/high risk environmentProducing robust technical justification to allow for relevant design modifications to be authorised within a high hazard industryReview technical reports and other safety case submissions from external contractorsCheck and review calculations and technical documents written by other members of staff Requirements:Essential: Reviewing of Safety Case documentation in accordance with arrangements and versus ..... full job details .....
