Join Our Team as a Safety and Security Ambassador
As the Safety and Security Ambassador, you are the primary point of contact for all safety, security, and emergencies on site. You will deliver exceptional front of house service, act as the initial responder for first aid incidents, alarm activations and manage first aid resources, and oversee critical safety and security equipment. You will conduct regular and ad-hoc safety audits, track safety concerns, and play a pivotal role in life safety alarms and evacuation procedures. You are expected to deputize for the Site Manager during emergencies, ensuring continuity of operations and the highest standards of customer service. The post holder will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, as you are also required to provide front of house reception services and support, including meeting and greeting visitors, interacting with colleagues and customers both verbally and in writing across all levels of the business, responding to incidents and emergency situations.
Responsibilities
Customer Service – Provide a professional, welcoming first impression and assist visitors courteously. Anticipate needs, resolve concerns diplomatically, and uphold security protocols.
First Aid and Emergency Response – Act as first responder to first aid incidents and manage supplies. Support business continuity and deputize for Site Manager during emergencies.
Health and Safety – Follow all site safety procedures, policies, and training.
Security Operations – Control access points, visitor credentials and perform security screenings. Conduct regular patrols, respond to alarms and monitor contractor compliance.
Surveillance and Access Control – Operate security technology and monitoring systems effectively and conduct systematic patrols and enforce strict key control procedures.
Documentation and Compliance – Maintain accurate incident reports and security documentation. Adhere to data protection and display SIA/CCTV licenses at all times.

What We Are Looking For
SIA Licence (Door Supervisor)
First Aid at Work certificate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and positive demeanour
Experience in using Access Control Equipment
5 years corporate security experience with a focus on a customer service background
