Safety and Compliance Manager Location: Tilbury Salary: Up to £60,840 + £4,694 location allowance + up to 10% bonus Contract: Permanent Working Pattern: Full-time, site-based Lead Safety. Drive Compliance. Support Operational Excellence. We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the energy and waste management sector for an experienced Safety and Compliance Manager. This is a key leadership role within a modern Energy Recovery Facility, responsible for driving best practice across Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Security (SHEQS). This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative leadership style, working closely with operational teams to embed a positive safety culture and deliver continuous improvement. The Role As Safety and Compliance Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for all safety and compliance matters on site. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing management systems, ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance, and supporting operational performance. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development and continuous improvement of site safety systems and procedures Managing health, safety and environmental monitoring programmes in line with legislation and industry best practice Ensuring compliance with ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO50001 standards Acting as audit lead and preparing the site for internal and external audits Leading incident ..... full job details .....
