You will work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), pastoral team, senior leadership and external agencies to ensure safeguarding concerns are identified, recorded and acted upon appropriately.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the DSL with the day-to-day management of safeguarding and child protection concerns.Responding appropriately to disclosures and safeguarding concerns.Maintaining accurate and confidential safeguarding records.Supporting referrals to relevant external agencies where required.Working closely with students, families, staff and external professionals.Monitoring student welfare and identifying students who may require additional support.Contributing to safeguarding meetings, reviews and multi-agency work.Ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are followed consistently.Supporting the school with safeguarding training, awareness and best practice.Maintaining confidentiality and handling ..... full job details .....
