They are looking to appoint a caring, committed and highly organised Safeguarding Officer to join the school team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, senior leadership team, teachers and external agencies to ensure that the welfare and safety of our pupils remains a priority.The RoleThe Safeguarding Officer will support the day-to-day safeguarding and welfare needs of pupils across the school.Key responsibilities will include:Supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead with the effective implementation of the school''s safeguarding and child protection procedures.Maintaining accurate, confidential and up-to-date safeguarding records.Supporting communication and liaison with parents and carers where appropriate.Contributing to Early Help processes and other support plans where appropriate.Attending safeguarding, pastoral and multi-agency meetings as appropriate.Supporting the school in promoting online safety and awareness of safeguarding risks.Monitoring agreed safeguarding actions and ensuring appropriate ..... full job details .....
