Reed FE are seeking a dedicated and motivated Progress Coach to join a team on a temporary ongoing basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting students to achieve their academic and personal goals, working closely with Study Programme students to provide guidance, mentorship, and resources.Progress CoachLocation: Surrey Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £18-£20ph (specific details to be discussed)Day-to-Day Responsibilities of a Safeguarding officer :Deliver a tutorial curriculum to tutor groups, following a PSHE curriculum.Engage and support a caseload of students, establishing early positive and trusting relationships with young people and their parents/carers.Provide one-to-one intervention to understand and address key obstacles faced by young people in engaging with learning.Use college systems to accurately record outcomes of support meetings, setting improvement and progress targets, and track and monitor all students on caseload.Act as the key point of contact for parents, carers, the local authority, and curriculum staff.Liaise closely with curriculum colleagues and the college safeguarding team to ensure effective communication and strategies for retention and support of vulnerable learners.Be visible during break times in communal areas with students.Contribute to Open Evenings, parents'' evenings, and similar events as required.Assist in the process of student recruitment and enrolment.Required Skills and Qualifications for the Safeguarding and Wellbeing ..... full job details .....
