Safeguarding Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Safeguarding Manager to lead and strengthen safeguarding practice across our organisation. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring that children, young people and adults at risk are protected, supported and empowered through robust safeguarding processes, effective case oversight and a culture of continuous learning. Working closely with senior leaders, managers and safeguarding representatives, you will provide both strategic leadership and operational expertise, ensuring safeguarding remains at the heart of everything we do. As our Safeguarding Manager, you will be the organisation''s operational lead for safeguarding, providing expert advice and oversight across a wide range of services including housing, counselling, helpline, outreach, retail, volunteer programmes and national office functions. You will: Lead safeguarding practice across the organisation. Review and oversee safeguarding concerns and complex cases. Line manage and develop Safeguarding Representatives. Monitor safeguarding quality, compliance and organisational risk. Produce safeguarding reports and assurance information for senior leaders and trustees. Lead safeguarding audits, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee the effective use of our safeguarding case management system.
