We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Safeguarding Administrator to join our clients team. As a key member of our Safeguarding Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the client fulfills its responsibilities in safeguarding the welfare of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be a first point of contact for the general safeguarding enquiries received via telephone and the generic safeguarding email inboxes.
- To be responsible for the administration relating to DBS checks.
- To provide administrative support to the Safeguarding Trainers.
- To ensure that relevant safeguarding records are kept up to date in relation to DBS checks and Safeguarding training.-
Key Skills:
- Experience of working in a business support role and customer-focused environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of how record keeping forms the basis for accurate data collection
- Knowledge of database management and data protection principles (GDPR)
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing demands
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective working relationships
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion
- Experience of working with databases and IT systems
- Experience of managing and supporting volunteers
- Understanding of the use of Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Relevant administrative or support experience
- Understanding of the safeguarding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
