Rumx Technician

My client is a fully integrated supply chain, dedicated research facility, with decades of experience supplying titanium, converting rutile ore into melt, refining ingot and slab, and manufacturing mill products.   

 

As the Rumx Press Technician, you are responsible for providing machine operation and planned maintenance support across the Rumx Plant and equipment, with primary responsibility for the safe operation, upkeep, and continuous improvement of the Rumx Hydraulic Press.

 

What we would like from the Rumx Press Technician:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Engineering
  • Strong understanding of planned and preventative maintenance principles
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic and/or electrical systems
  • Proactive, safety-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a production-focused environment
  • Heavy industrial or forging environment experience (desirable)
  • Experience supporting maintenance projects or equipment upgrades
  • Happy working a 4 on 4 off rotating days and night shift pattern (full continental)

 

What we offer the Rumx Press Technician:

  • Starting salary is £39,444 £1347,63 (shift allowance per month) £36.95 (additional shift allowance per month) £56,058.96 which will increase after completion of training
