This is a temporary, hands-on role within a busy parcel operation, with additional shifts potentially available during busier periods.  Job Role: As a Parcel Sorter, you will work as part of a busy team handling parcels and mail within the sorting centre.  Key Responsibilities: Unloading mail and parcels from vehicles. Moving parcels and mail through the sorting centre. Sorting letters, parcels and other postal items. Loading and moving mail bags and parcels. Ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently. Working to tight deadlines in a busy environment. Moving between different tasks as required during your shift. Working effectively as part of a team. Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
