The role Putney High School has an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified Rowing Coach to play a key role within our Boat Club. As a Rowing Coach, you will deliver high-quality coaching to students across all age groups (J13-J18) and ability levels. You will also support the smooth running of the Boat Club by assisting with administrative and operational responsibilities. These include maintaining equipment, managing race entries, payments and affiliations and providing support at Head races, regattas and training camps. We are looking for a personable, confident and self-motivated individual who holds a British Rowing Level 2 Coaching qualification (or equivalent) and an RYA Powerboat Level 2 qualification (or a willingness to complete this). The successful candidate will have experience of rowing at a high level and a proven track record of coaching, ideally within a school environment. The ability to maintain and repair a fleet of boats is also essential. This is a 36-hour per week full time position, with the structure of hours to be made in agreement with the Head of Rowing.
